Rev. Dr. Tommy C. McGee, Jr.

Tommy C. McGee, a native of Warren Texas, was called to Egypt Chapel Baptist Church of Dallas, TX in November of 1985 with his wife Alice Faye McGee, from his then home church, The Concord Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas Texas where he remains a charter member.

Dr. McGee began his ministry at The Concord Baptist Church in the Sunday School Department as a teacher, continued as a Divisional Superintendant, General Superintendant, Growth Group Leader, Deacon and afterwards, he was called to the ministry in March of 1980 under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. E. K. Bailey.

While pastoring at Egypt Chapel Baptist Church, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Dallas Baptist University in 1994; A Master of Old Testament Theology from Criswell College in 1996. During his tenure at Criswell College Rev. McGee earned the status of Cum Laude and a seat in the Who’s Who Amoung American University Students. Rev. McGee earned his Masters of Divinity (MDiv) at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997 and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in year 2000.

Reverend Dr. Tommy C. McGee is presently and proudly serving as the Senior Pastor of the Egypt chapel Baptist Church, Dallas Texas.
